Maryam Mohammadi

Maryam Mohammadi has been leading the Group for Perovskite Optoelectronics at AMO GmbH, Germany, since August 2023. Before joining AMO, she was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Sharif University of Technology, the University of Amsterdam, and AMOLF Research Institute in Amsterdam. Her post-doctoral research pursuits have revolved around the domain of Metal-Halide Perovskites.

Maryam completed her PhD in Material Science and Engineering, with a specific focus on Oxide Perovskite Materials, at Tarbiat Modares University in Iran and EMPA, Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology in Switzerland. The Perovskite Optoelectronics Group’s research at AMO currently centres on advancing next-generation optoelectronic technologies through the development of cost-effective, high-performance, and solution-based Metal-Halide Perovskite materials, which constitute the group’s ambitious focal point.
